"You have taught me to believe in myself and to take things slowly, one step at a time, keep sight of my goals, both short term and long term.

Your coaching style was both nuturing and motivating, you seemed to intuitively know some days what I needed most. Your caring and understanding was so appreciated and it came from the heart."

-Holly C.

I would recommend the Simplicity Course as an easy, practical way to start simplifying one's life. I especially liked the segments on Tolerations, Wardrobe, and Office and Paperwork.

Each day focuses on only one task, which is helpful to people who feel overwhelmed by the complexities of modern life and hardly know where to begin downshifting.

-Joan, New York

Beth has an uncanny way of, "reading between the lines" to see a person's heart. I appreciate how genuine she is.

I have already begun implementing her suggestions, and am dumbstruck at how well they are working. I am feeling so much more secure, and feel I am finally put onto a life path that will bring me joy for many years to come."

-Sue Halpern

I feel more focused and have an objective instead of aimlessly filling up the day.

-Shelli Segura

-Do not wish to be anything but what you are and try to be that perfectly. –St. Francis De Sales

"Give me health and a day and I will make the pomp of emperors ridiculous."    - Emerson

Did you take time for fun last month? What are your fun plans for this month?

It’s springtime, a time when many of us start thinking about how we will look when we put on that swimsuit. Much of the time when we think health, we think weight loss. But, there is so much more to it then that.

Health is…

Good sleep

Deep breathing

Life-enriching foods

Intellectual activity

Less TV, more music

Watching stress and worry

Steam to help my breathing

More calcium and fruit and veggies

Less junk food

Body awareness- am I hungry, tired, stuffy, etc.

Laughter and smiles

Healthy relationships

Quiet time

Good environment to live in

How is your health? What is your body telling you? Try taking one weekend this month to focus on your health. Maybe go to a class, visit the grocery store for fresh fruits and vegetables or practice relaxation. Give yourself a mini health retreat. Sometimes I like to look online for health retreats and use some of the health spas schedules to make my own. Like Canyon Ranch: http://www.canyonranch.com/brochures/LEP_cal.pdf

After your health retreat decide on what changes in your health need to be made. Pick just one change and start to work on it.

Take Action:

My health retreat will be:

What I learned:

What changes need to be made?

What one change will I begin with?

Take one change at a time and you will continue to get healthier!

We all need beauty as well as bread.
-John Muir

Relationship Ideas for April:

·         Write thank you notes to people who have mentored you

"Believe it or not, it really is possible to slow life down and enjoy each moment. You really can have control over the sheer volume of activities and involvements that seem to drain your energy and motivation."
 –Thomas Moore

I encourage you this month to live energetically, to be thankful for your health and to change your worry to action.
