I love life and want everyone
else to love life, too. My goal is to live juicy, as one of my inspirations,
SARK, says. I've always had a drive to be the best me possible. I've lost weight
after the kids and have been exercising regularly for years. Since I came into
marriage with no idea how to organize or keep house, I've learned and put
into practice systems that keep me from having to try to be organized. The systems
do it for me as long as I work the systems.
I work hard, but
I love to have fun, too. I've had to learn how to take care of myself and relax.
I've overcome procrastination and perfectionism. o.k. I should say I am
making progress with these.
I believe in persistence
and having a good mind set. If you think quality thoughts you go much further
than with negative thinking. I am positive, but also practical. One of the biggest
difficulties my clients have, is with time. As in, there isn't enough of
it. We work through time management systems and ideas, but most importantly we
uncover what is the most important things for them to be doing. I coach people
searching for something more in their life while releasing what they no longer
need. I long for others to find the peace in their life that I have.
I
am an encouraging, sensitive coach. I desire excellence from my clients,
but my goal is to get them out from overwhelm, not overwhelm them more. I'm more
quiet & thoughtful and I like to listen.
I began my career
after college as a receptionist, writer for the newspaper and published freelance
writer. In 1997, I wanted to stay home with my two kids. I decided I needed a
hobby so I didn't lose myself in motherhood.
I taught myself
web design and graphic design and started Sweet Petite's Haven. I was writing
articles for things I was interested in:organizing, personal development, creativity,
etc. Little did I know that I would get a following of people who were also interested.
I was getting questions for advice often. At the same time I became a community
leader for Geocities, helping people with their web pages.
Once
both kids went to school, I charged into the work force as a graphic designer.
It fed my creativity, but the fast pace was hard on me and I didn't feel the passion.
2 years later I discoverd the career of coaching. I quickly
thought- hey, that's what I already do. This is what I love. I took classes, read
tons and started my coaching business.
A few of my favorite things:
listening to music, playing my piano or keyboard and singing
nature hikes,
zoos, watching the birds at my bird
feeder
playing with my energetic cat, Thomas and my lively kids
scrapbooking, photography, writing
going to the beach with my hubby
researching
my ancestory through genealogy
I believe in living life fully and creating
